Nelson - Rescuer and lifelong dog guardian

Nigel, a former rescue, and Nelson
Nelson is a lifelong dog guardian, foster parent, and one of the founders of Martha Candy Patches Rescue. Currently, Nelson shares his home with two of his own dogs, a foster dog, and a fifteen year old cockatiel. He has rehabilitated rescue dogs for years and continues to socialize and save dogs that would otherwise be euthanized.
Aside from being a pet rescuer, he is a writer and decorated military veteran with 12 years of service.
He adopted professional pet care as a rewarding second career and labor of love. Nelson immensely enjoys the ongoing companionship of his canine clients and meeting their caring owners.
Yvette - Experienced Walker
Yvette's walk experience includes experience walking dogs in Hoboken and Jersey City. As a lifelong resident of Hudson County and pet guardian, Yvette chose to be a pet service professional as a satisfying second career.
Yvette's dedication and commitment are evident as she acquired a new client with a dog recently pulled from a rescue. The dog, Oshkosh, has developed into a model pet thanks in part to Yvette's warm and compassionate energy that helped Oshkosh acclimate into her new environment.
Chris - Trustworthy, Committed, and Enthusiastic
It was during Chris' two week training period when we realized that we found a real professional that needed to join out team. Like the rest of the staff, Chris chose professional pet care as a rewarding second career and labor of love. Chris' experience as a lifelong dog guardian goes beyond the simple ownership of a pet. He is committed to socializing animals under his care and has proven himself as he recently secured a client with a dog, Olivia, that has aggression problems on the leash.
Chris took charge and put the pet at ease during anxious situations. As a result, Olivia is learning that she is safe walking with Chris.
